SUSHI, SIDEWALK SHOOT, AND LONG HOURS

TUESDAY 03.16.10
Sushi and Photoshoot with Tati Rockicki
The plan was to meet up with an old friend and Tatiana at Ching Park to take pictures of at the skatepark. BUT by the time Tati and I got to the skatepark, he had already left because he got hungry, and didn't know I was still coming to see him. So we ditched the skatepark and made our way to Sushi instead. Following that, we continued our photoshoot on the sidewalk streets: http://s294.photobucket.com/home/janeybabyy/set/849
Conclusion: Things are a hundred times more fun when you ditch the original plans, and make new ones on the spur of the moment.

WEDNESDAY 03.17.10
Work with Mama and the Cousins
Needed to make some good cash, so I joined my mom, Joel, and Zaldy to the international centre to do work. The work was simple- all we had to do was pack lootbags for an upcoming event. However, the conversations were complex- my cousin Zaldy and I had intense conversations about everything: the past, our life, the people we've become. It was really random for us to start getting deep about stuff, but it was worth it; not only did it make 9 hours of work seem shorter, but it reassured me about a lot of things in life, and how much I love my family.

TOMORROW 03.18.10
Tomorrow is finally the Thursday I've been waiting for. I am at last going to Ryerson University for their open house and learn more about the Fashion Communication Program.
Goal: to find out exactly what they wanted on the portfolio so I can determine whether or not I'm getting an acceptance letter or not. Hah.
