The Ugly Truth.

Today was girls day out.
Today was also the day "The Ugly Truth" movie came out; I've been looking forward to this movie since I saw the preview two months ago.
After taking photo booth pictures, my beautiful best friends (Sheila and Amika) and I drove to the theatres with all the anticipation we had for the movie.
Of course "The Ugly Truth" is another one of those films like "He's Just Not That Into You." Moreover, it was quite enjoyable and many lessons could be picked up for both men and women and their crazyass ways of getting into& keeping relationships.
One interesting truth, and obviously an ugly one, is: the fact that women tend to have this checklist of their perfect man. Thus, instead of searching for love, they search for the requirements listed in their checklists.
What the hell, right?

Think about it.

"When did the future switch from being a promise to being a threat?"

"Only when we eat up this planet will God give us another. We'll be remembered more for what we destroy than what we create."

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. Part 2. (I missed the part with Nick Jonas).

I forgot to mention how I spent about an hour and a half trying to figure out what I should change my desktop wallpaper to. In the end it came down to another one of my Loves. And if you're a girl, I'm pretty sure you'll appreciate this too. Haha ;)

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE.

I'm back from Pennsylvania.
It was short, but probably the best trip of the summer, so far.
My cousins Jasmine and Samantha are the craziest, funniest, best friends ever. Not to mention the biggest shopaholics. For 2 days, we managed to shop at Target and 3 other malls (Grove City, Millcreek, and Walden Galleria). I spent at least $250 within those 2 days, but everything I purchased was worth it. Photos will be coming very soon.

Surprisingly, I haven't been too tired or lazy. The day right after Pennsylvania, my family and I went to IKEA. IKEA is honestly, my second favourite place in the world (second, just after Hollywood Boulevard). The restaurant there is so cozy, and swedish food is amazing.
But of course we didn't go just to eat. I spent around $200 of new stuff for my room. I'm not going to lie, my room looks beautiful- it's like my very own IKEA showcase room.
Yes, finally, I've been successful with one of my summer goals. Pictures will be coming shortly as well.

Also, that same day we watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. (I've watched every Harry Potter movie in theatres with my family- it's like our very own family tradition or something). Anyway, all i can say is, it's surely the funniest Harry Potter movie, with the saddest and most depressing ending ever.
Period.

Moreover, I haven't been partying for 2 weeks now, but i've been spending all my time with family and it's been freaking incredible. It's the best change I've gone through all year. The time spent with people you love and love you back just as much, is definitely the time worth living. Whether it's trips out of town to BBQ& drinks in the backyard- you always seem to find yourself having a good time.
Family is love, and love is all you need. Pretty much.

summer is finally kicking in.

Summer is getting better by the second.
For Canada Day, it wasn't just another lousy day at Ching park to see fireworks; but this year my cousins and I attended the Michael Jackson tribute at Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. The place was packed with people, and everyone was just jammin' to MJ tunes for a straight 3 hours. Incredible. And of course, we went shopping and I found the cutest dress/top at Urban Outfitters, a t-shirt, and a fashion book. All for $85- expensive, but pretty worth it.
Our way home was kind of annoying because we met some pretty sketchy guys that try to hit on us in the bus. However, when they stopped being idiots, we suddenly saw fireworks outside of our window. YES. Our night got even better at that point. To finish off the day, I slept over at my cousins place and we watched Entourage Season 5. What a satisfying day it was indeed.

Then yesterday was legit too considering I got to go to my friend's party even though i thought i wasn't going to make it because I had work and no ride. On top of that, she lives on the other side of Brampton (which feels like the World). Anyway, it was really nice to see everyone and their drunk asses. I can't wait until the next time.

Moreover, today i found out some good news as well.
I got more hours at work. Which means $$! And I found out that if my cousins get their passports soon, we're all going to New York City! It's about time I step foot in this city that everyone talks so beautifully about.
AND more?
-> Warped Tour this Friday
-> Film Festival is a go this year.

SUMMER, we're gonna get along so well.
