Red lipstick all over the place.

There's only one thing a girl would do when she finds red lipstick in her mama's room:

layer it up on her own lips.

That's exactly what i did.

But why is it such a fad to wear red lipstick?

Typical of me, i googled the meaning behind it. I didn't read much but i remember a lot of sites mentioning it was for "sexual" purposes? Apparently, it's a strong method of turning men on.

Then, eventually, it lead me to the one sex symbol who was famous for the hot red lipstick...

Marylin Monroe.

And so here comes a quote for the day:

Truth: it's absolutely breathtaking, but hollywood can only show so much love behind all the glamour.

I forgot to mention how my sick day had a little bit more to it;

my closet was screaming my name.

tons of bracelets, and 7 dollar pink shades.

Surprisingly, i woke up at 11am this morning which is so early considering i did plan a sick day today (i really am not feeling well). Nothing extraordinary or out of the ordinary happened today, unfortunately. I forced myself to do some school work, but when that didn't work out I took little naps or listened to music; just the usual stuff.

The only good thing out of my day was probably seeing He's Just Not That Into You on pay per view. If your a girl and have not seen in yet, you are definitely missing out on a movie full of lessons you should embed in your mind.

Here's one:

Basically, i missed writing and such so i thought this blogger idea would be legit. This is also just to entertain myself, and maybe you too with this unpredictable ride i'm on called "life."

So let's get to know me first?

I think being seventeen is pretty great, where the future becomes a concern but its still okay to fuck around here and there. Yes, i do believe in God, even though lately the drama in my life has been keeping me distant from the relationship and religion i once knew so well. I never take my family and friends for granted. School is another thing i wouldn't take for granted; what's a person without ambition, right? I'm such a lucky chic to be working at H&M. I'm passionate about a lot things, like fashion, art, and design.

And bottom line, my life is driven by shopping, concerts,

painting, and partying.

One last truth:

I'll always be the girl

to stop and smell the roses.
